Therapy

Our work together can be short, medium or long term. I work with people from many different backgrounds who are experiencing a range of difficulties and challenges.

You may need support around a behavioural change such as overcoming an addiction or dealing with a fear or a phobia. You may need help with how to manage changes that are happening to you in your life such as relationship breakdowns, family concerns, health issues, financial or work problems.

You may be seeking personal growth and development; to improve your level of confidence and self-esteem or to increase awareness of how you function in your world in order to make informed decisions about your future.

You may be seeking clarification; to understand more about yourself and your relationships with others, to cope with grief and loss or past traumatic events and to understand why you feel, think and act the way you do.

There may be something you wish to explore and make sense of; you may be feeling low and depressed or anxious or angry and feel stuck or overwhelmed and not understand why. You may feel misunderstood and not valued and need help to be heard and accepted.

At our initial session we will discuss what you would like from therapy. This offers the opportunity for us to meet, to help you decide if I am the right counsellor for you and for me to ensure that I have the right experience to meet your needs and create the right space for you. I offer this session at a reduced fee.
